Guests were encouraged to sign in at the door, put on their costume (senorita flowers for the mujeres and moustaches for the hombres) and pick a spanish name. Spanglish was encouraged but complete and total Spanish immersion was expected from Tio Jaime.
The men rocked their moustaches. Tim got into character easily.
Lee took two moustaches and created a one-of-a-kind 'stache.
The fact that my dad's was on crooked made it that much funnier.
Mark waited his whole life for this opportunity.
Corey was made for a moustache.

We had a carne asada taco bar with freshly grilled flour tortillas, black beans, refried beans, spanish rice, homemade salsa and taco salad. The margaritas and cervezas were ice cold and plentiful. The only sad thing about the day was that we forgot to do the pinata! Our multi-colored burro remains intact and waiting for another fiesta!
