Don't Feed the Animals!

For some reason, anytime children come over to my home, they end up in Sailor's crate. To clarify, I do not put them there. They flock to it. It calls to them.  Zach and Shane had not been at our house for more than 5 minutes when they climbed into the cage and asked me to take their picture. It was their idea to get into character and snarl and growl at the camera. It was Zach's idea to lock Shane in the crate and not let him out. They were having so much fun, I had to convince them to get out. I had to convince them that going to the park was a good idea. I had to convince them that a Happy Meal and Cats and Dogs 3D was more fun than playing in a crate. This is an example of kids at their best. So easy to please. A crate and a camera occupied them for the better part of an hour.

Shane had a very realistic howl which he happily vocalized for us several times. After he got out of the cage, he directed Zachary in an impromptu photo shoot... For a six year old, he took some very impressive photos! I don't know what Zach's motivation is in the below picture but whatever it is, I like it.

I have that same look on my face when I'm having a bad hair day! lol! Now I know how they entertain themselves when they are at Sailor's house!
