The Jeweler Got Fired

Corey and I went to pick out wedding rings! Corey picked his out in approximately 2 minutes flat. It took me slightly longer to decide on mine... The "diamond specialist" who helped us pick our rings was particularly helpful...imagine our surprise two days later when we called to ask him a question and were informed that "he no longer worked at Robins Brothers." We were shocked and went through countless scenarios as to why he would have been fired. When we picked up our rings, we told them we were surprised he didn't work there anymore and the manager told us, and I quote, that it was "quite the surprise to the diamond specialist when they told him too..." OOOOOOHHHH!!! Juicy! We tried to find out why but with no luck...we still feel like we need closure with the whole situation... Is it bad luck that they guy who sold us our wedding rings was fired the next day????? We sincerely hope that this is not an omen...
