A few weeks ago, a whole mess of us decided to go kayaking in the canals of Naples. Andrew was going to be leaving for the Big Leagues in a few days and we wanted to do something fun with him. He and Jayme drove down to meet us and we were off on our adventure. As we walked down Second Street to the bay, the sun went behind some clouds and decided not to resurface for the rest of the afternoon. While overcast, it was still a warm day and we had so much fun out on the water. Corey's shoulder was still pretty sore so we were only out for an hour but we had a great time.
We asked the kayak rental guy to take a picture of us on the beach. It is worth mentioning that it was his idea to hold up a kayak behind us so we wouldn't forget what we were doing there. We all were kinda like, "Gee...yah...great...good idea..." but as soon as we saw this picture we couldn't stop laughing and all agreed that the kayak in the background makes the whole photograph and that it WAS absolutely necessary.
