FPN: Winter Modifications Necessary

Corey and I love our firepit nights. As it became colder and colder and winter grew near, what started out as a few drinks in our shorts and flip-flops around the pit evolved into something requiring so much more effort. When the temperatures became near freezing and dipped into the upper 50's (BRRRR!), sweatshirts and shoes became required. Hot chocolate also became a necessity. As did the occasional blanket. Sitting around the pit with our mugs of hot chocolate and Christmas lights lit up really got us into the Christmas spirit.

We talked about loving our firepit so much that Momma Fish thought she might get Papa Fish one for Christmas. To test the waters, we invited them over for a practice session to see if they really had what it takes to be proud firepitters for life.

While they have a long way to go, it became evident that the potential was there for them. So under the Christmas tree was Papa Fish's new FP. We wish them many happy FPNs!

Oh Ron and Barb...they make me happy. And I have one more reason to dig Corey....he's still wearing his flip flops. What a stud!
