Sunday Morning

I took these photos before I came into work this morning and I have to be honest, the whole scene unfolding before my eyes just made me so happy! It was just such a sweet little sight.


As Corey ate his cereal in bed, our animals gathered around in hopes of getting the last of the milk from his bowl. Notice Joey waiting patiently in perfect kitty posture as Sailor gnaws on his little blue baby.

As Sailor became more aggressive in the shaking to death of his chew toy, Joey shifted positions nervously. Sailor sometimes forgets Joey is a cat, and thus not a chew toy, and starts eating him instead.
As was the case on this fine Sunday morning. You see, they really are best friends. Best friends who sometimes gnaw on each other's heads, that is. Yes, Sailor is in fact chewing on Joey's ear. And yes, Joey did allow it for several minutes before smacking Sailor across the face repeatedly and retreating to the closet.
