Angels Good, Dodgers Bad!

Corey and I went to the Angel game on Friday night with our friends Keri and Robert. While we always enjoy going to see the Angels, this was a particularly great game because they were playing the Dodgers. People in So Cal are very passionate about their Angel Red or Dodger Blue. At the Angel/Dodger games, you can always count on at least one fight to break out between the opposing fans. This game did not dissappoint. By the 3rd inning, fists were flying. We supported our Angels in a much more mellow yet equally supportive fashion. Thankfully, the Angels won 4-2. The air was tense between fans after the game. Luckily, they put the Laker game on all the TV screens at the stadium so Angel and Dodger fans alike were able to come together in harmony for a common goal: eliminating Utah in the play-offs. Men in Angel hats and women in Dodger jerseys cheered and high-fived as the Lakers pulled it off... see how sports can bring about peace between bitter and opposing sides? I think we are going about this Iraq thing all wrong...
