My first moment with Hallie Lane was on October 8, 2006. Hallie was the first baby that I ever took ownership over. It is hard to explain but I really did feel like she was part mine. Now granted, she lived in a different state and I didn't have to do any of the hard stuff...but nonetheless, I considered her My Baby. Hallie is boisterous, silly, and talkative. My claim to fame is that a few months ago she woke up from a nap and told Michelle that she was making cookies with Laura! For several days she kept talking about it and she hadn't seen me for months. Michelle concluded that she must have dreamed about me!
My first moment with Claire Caron was on June 1, 2009. Claire seems sweet, unassuming and even-keeled. The perfect little sister for Hallie. I look forward to getting to know her and seeing who she will become. I feel so lucky that I am surrounded by such sweet little girls. What I am trying to say is simple. The best part of having big girl friends are their little girl counterparts!

Stop writing your beautiful, prosaic words. They are heart-wrenchingly beautiful and make me want to cry. But, seriously, thanks for the love you have for me, Chris, and the girls. We love you so much right back!
