We were planning to surprise PopPop (otherwise known as Corey and Molly's grandfather and Robin's father) with a surprise drive up to New Jersey where he lives...unfortunately, he got sick and had to go into the hospital the day before we were set to visit. We decided to go ahead with our plan and go visit him even though he was a little under the weather...
He was so surprised when we came walking into his hospital room! Within the first 2 minutes, he had said his hellos and was getting down to business talking football with Corey. We were so happy to see him! Living on the other side of the country means we had not seen him since our wedding in 2008 and that is entirely too long.
PopPop is the cutest grandpa ever! I never knew either of my grandfathers as they both passed away before I was born. I am thrilled to call PopPop my first official grandpa!
We look forward to seeing him in April at Molly's wedding! We love you, PopPop!
