Pittsford, NY: The Snow Edition

One day, we bundled up and decided to head out to walk the village in the snow. When I say bundled, I mean this: long underwear, a tank top, a long sleeve shirt, a fleece hoodie, a coat, a pair of yoga pants over the long underwear pants, jeans, a scarf, a hat, 2 or 3 pairs of socks (1 that goes up to the knee) and boots. This results in me looking like an overstuffed sausage- but the warmest overstuffed sausage that you ever did see! I remember this day as being the coldest with the biggest snowflakes. Though we had just been in Pittsford in the summer, it was almost unrecognizable under the blanket of ice and snow! In comparing these pictures to these pictures, you wouldn't even know it was the same town!

Notice me, second in line, looking at the ground and adjusting my scarf up and over my ears. I found it impossible not to look down- the icy wind against my face was too much. I followed Molly's boots the whole time!
Cozy houses and businesses in cute colors all in a row...

What town wouldn't have a life-size horse with the village painted upon it's side? Molly and I supported the idea so much that we had to get in on the action.
Such beautiful works of art in the village of Pittsford...fancy horses, fancy benches!
