Kauai Getaway

For the last 3 years, I have been visiting Corey on Oahu. We have always talked about going to other islands, but I am usually only out there for 4 days so we have never followed through on our talk. Corey and I knew that this was our last opportunity to visit another island. My dad's cousin and his wife bought a home on the golf course in Princeville on the North Shore of Kauai so we decided to visit them for a few days. The flight from Oahu to Kauai took twenty minutes. When we landed, we rented a car and drove to the other side of island. It was beautiful. Adjectives do not do Kauai justice. Breathtakingly Gorgeous. We were amazed by the waterfalls in Kauai. As we drove down the highway, there were waterfalls just on the side of the road. We felt as if we could reach out and touch them. Rich and Kathy's home was amazing. The backyard was the tee for the 7th hole of the Princeville Golf Course. Every night, Corey would hit golf balls before dinner. Rich and Kathy took us to Queen's Bath, Kilauea Lighthouse and Hanalei on our first day there. We took hundreds of pictures! This slideshow includes the highlights.
