Corey and I have learned not to take simple nights out for granted. Being apart for so long has really taught us to relish the simplest things! Going out and having a drink with friends may sound like an everyday occurrence, but to us, it is something we could not do for 7 months! While he was gone, we would always email about how we could not wait until we got to go out on dates like a real couple. On this particular night, we had been out for a few hours when I said to Corey, "We are out like a real couple!" He laughed at me but understood exactly what I meant.
