Cheese in a Can and Steve Miller Band (and pictures that just have no words)

I have been lucky enough to have an awesome family who have shared their boat generously. Growing up and getting to go on a dozen trips to Lake Mead and Lake Powell has been so much fun. There are several prerequisites to Liebel lake vacations: Cheese in a Can and Steve Miller Band are among them. My favorite days are when we go out and explore the lake, find canyons and coves, enjoy the gorgeous scenery, eat lake food (like beef jerky and cheese from a can) and listen to Steve Miller, Tom Petty and the Top Gun Soundtrack. That pretty much sums up an ideal day.

Cathedral Canyon is absolutely gorgeous. The canyons are narrow, the water reflects up on the walls and the exploration could take hours! As soon as one canyon has dead ended, you can always back out and find another! I really don't have many words for the hundreds of scenery pictures that we took. The photos don't do it justice. It was breathtaking.
